The most expensive contract of the week is #33C at 15 Central Park West. The three-bedroom residence entered contract asking $18,950,000 after 406 days on the market. The 2,761 sf residence features 40 ft of Central Park frontage, and is in move-in condition. 15 CPW, designed by Robert A.M. Stern, is one of the best preforming residential buildings in New York in terms of appreciation.
This week 20 properties entered contract. The luxury market has been holding between 20 and 30 contracts per week, except for last week’s outlier of 15. Sales volume increased to $161MM, however, the avg. sales price went lower.
